Google Webmaster tools has a tool that lets you tag structured data after you've added your site
      to Google's  index and tied it to an account. This doesn't change the source code of your site.
      
      I decided to try this out on the Event schema page on this site. I decided to leave the manually-created
      microtagging that was already on that page in-place to see how they would get along. Currently, there is not
      any benefit, snippet-wise, from having this structured microtagging on the Events page.
